A Little Rock Air Force Base press release advised that personnel and agencies will test emergency response procedures during a Major Accident Response Exercise on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Most exercise activities will not impact the surrounding community or retirees and family members conducting business on base. However, base officials ask visitors to plan accordingly because some scenarios will result in temporary traffic movement restrictions, gate delays, facility closures and warning sirens throughout the base.

Base officials have coordinated the exercise with local, state and federal law enforcement officials, emergency responders, area hospitals, area mayors and other agencies.
