First Baptist Church of Maumelle, 100 Valencia Drive: The church and Pastor Tony Auxier invites the community to join them at 10:15 a.m., Sunday, when he continues a series of sermons from the gospel of Mark. In addition several new Sunday School classes have been added at 9 a.m., with exciting Bible studies for all ages.

AWANA Clubs (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) for children ages 2 through 6th grade meet each Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m., in the activity building. They will not meet on Sunday, Oct. 21, due to school’s three-day weekend. Spaces are still available to join.

Graves Memorial Baptist Church, 4617 Oak Grove Road, North Little Rock: The church will host a harvest festival from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31. There will be a dunk tank, face painting, giant slide , carnival games, hayrides, preschool zone, funnel cakes, snow cones, popcorn, chili dog supper and door prizes.

Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, 449 Millwood Circle, Maumelle: The 3rd annual Trunk or Treat will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27. There will be bounce houses, cupcake walk, and much more.

A traditional service is held at 8 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. for a blended service. A family Bible hour for all ages is at 9:20 a.m. on Sundays.
