Incidents reported to Maumelle police through May 3:
Maumelle Boulevard and Odom Boulevard North: On April 26, Andrew James Boland, 20, of North Little Rock was arrested and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol. Officer Brock Waldo said he found Boland walking on Odom Boulevard and said he was unable to answer simple questions such as who his parents were.
Vienne Place: On April 26, Steven Everett Rowland, 41, of North Little Rock was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle without license plates and possession of a controlled substance. Officer Jeremy Newlin, Sr., said he stopped him because he was pulling a trailer without a tag. He said Rowland told him he was driving around looking for scrap metal. A search of the vehicle turned up ten Oxycodone pills in a plastic bag in his drivers side door.
Maumelle Boulevard and Edgewood Drive: On April 26, Jobeth Beth Schlatterer, 56, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with DWI, careless and prohibitive driving and refusing to take a Breathalyzer test after officer Jeremy Newlin, Sr., said he pulled the 2007 Lincoln Navigator over for swaying between lanes. The woman told Newlin she had just come from work at the First United Methodist Church. When she exited her vehicle Newlin asked Schlatterer about a bleeding scratched shin which she said she got while working at the church. After failing field sobriety tests she was taken to the Maumelle Police Department and charged.
Maumelle Boulevard: On April 27, Virginia Kaye Rhoades, 33, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tail light. Officer Sterking Pruitt said he found just over six grams of marijuana and three Xanax bars along with a glass marijuana smoking pipe.
Country Club Parkway: On April 27, Officer Andrew Garber said he saw a 2002 Pontaic Grand Prix traveling down Country Club Parkway with a headlight out and when he stopped the vehicle he said the driver Donald Edward Webb, 23, of Maumelle had outstanding warrants from Maumelle for alleged criminal contempt of court. Garber said he was also charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license and for possession of a controlled substance.after he found 6.6 grams of marijuana in a bag under the driver’s seat.
247 Summit Valley Circle: On April 28, Mickey D. Langford, 33, of Mayflower was arrested and charged with DWI, driving on a driver’s license suspended for another DWI, possession of a controlled substance(1.7 grams of marijuana) and refusing to take a Breathalyzer test. Officer Andrew Garber said he responded to a suspicious vehicle call and found Langford asleep in a gold Chrysler parked halfway in the street and hallway in a yard. The driver was reclining in her driver’s seat and officers had difficulty awakening her, Garber said. After failing field sobriety tests, officers said they found the marijuana in a silver pouch in the vehicle.
Carnahan Drive: On April 28, Cpl. Debra Bagley said she stopped a vehicle after it sat at a green light with several other vehicle passed the vehicle to drive through the light. She said Calan Cleveland, 18, of Little Rock was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after she found 0.5 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle along with a metal marijuana grinder.
7117 Forest Dale Drive: North Little Rock: On April 29, Jacquelyn Vandermolen, 27, of North Little Rock was arrested and charged with probation revocation after Maumelle bailiff Michael McNeil conducted a home inspection of a probationer with assistance of Maumelle police. McNeil said he found 7.2 grams of synthetic cannabinoids and 9 valium tablets.
100 Millwood Drive: On April 30, Anika Walker, 32, of Conway was arrested after she turned herself in on an outstanding warrant for alleged criminal contempt of court. She was cited and released with a court date.
Southland Court: On May 2, Duc Chann Le, 43, of Maumelle was arrested and charged with DWI and improper signaling. Sgt. Dustin Ivey said Le failed field sobriety tests and registered 0.08 blood alcohol count in a Breathalyzer test.
104 Limoges: On April 27, Morgan Sawyer, 69, of Dallas, TX told police his 2003 Ford Mustang was damaged by someone attempting to open his door damaging the key mechanism. He also said four rims were stolen.
Odom Boulevard North: On April 29, Frank Welsh, 50, of Cabot turned in a set of keys he found laying in the street on Odom Boulevard North.
10 Alexandria Drive: On April 29, Misty Barlett, administrator at the Lakes at Maumelle told police items were missing from her desk which had been pried open over the weekend. The missing items included $50 in cash.
100 Victory Lane: On April 12, Stacy Buckingham, a teacher at Maumelle High School reported the theft of a $500 Apple iPad and a $1,00 Apple MacBook Pro computer. She said they were locked in her room on April 5 but after she left for the weekend and a week of vacation when she returned on April 10 she discovered the computers missing.
117 Audubon Drive: On April 24, Vickie Jefferson, a manager at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market told police she witnessed a black male about 25 years old shoplifting several cell phones and attempted to stop him but he refused to comply. Later two empty sell phone boxes were found in the men’s restroom.
