Central Arkansas Christian’s softball team improved to 3-0 in 7-4A conference play last week with a pair of league wins last week.

Amy Zini’s Lady Mustangs, who had opened conference play by beating Arkansas Baptist the previous week, knocked off Arkadelphia, 10-0, and Bauxite, 7-4.

In between, they fell to Maumelle, 12-1, to settle at 6-6 overall to open the week.

This is another big week for the Lady Mustangs, who were scheduled to travel to Malvern on Monday for a conference game, play host to Harding Academy for a non-conference contest Tuesday and return to conference play against Pulaski Robinson on Thursday. They are to start next week by playing host to Lonoke on Monday and Little Rock Christian on Tuesday for non-conference games.
