In a three-team Central Arkansas Swim League meet with Cabot and Conway, the Waves turned in a strong showing against the larger squads.
The Waves, with 232 points, finished behind Cabot (557) and Conway (259).
One of the highlights of the meet was the boys 15-18 100-meter freestyle relay in which the Waves captured first and third. The team of Michael Wilde, Ethan Lutjen. Joshua Landers and Hayden Depriest won while the Waves team of Lawerence Gerson, Thomas Gerson, Andrew Stuff and Mason Sanders placed third.
The girls 12-under team – Kristina Gaines, Emily Marlin, Sarah Marlin and Morgan Smiatek — placed second.
Individual highlights included Peyton Price, boys 7-8, winning the gold backstroke and butterfly and the silver individual medley while recording the best time in the meet. He also won the silver breaststroke.
Kristina Games, girls 7-8, was first in the gold freestyle, first in gold backstroke, first in silver breaststroke and first silver IM with a gold time.
Mikey Milligan, boys 7-8, won the silver backstroke.
Hannah Haskins, 6-under, was second in the kickboard. Sydney Plaguet, girls 7-8, was second in silver freestyle and third in silver backstroke.
In boys 9-10, Thomas Gerson was second in silver breaststroke, third in silver butterfly; first in bronze IM and
Caleb Hoskins was third in silver free, second in silver backstroke, first in bronze breaststroke and first in bronze butterfly.
In boys 11-12, Lawrence Gerson was first in silver free style, first in silver breaststroke, second in bronze butterfly and first in silver IM.
Luke King won the bronze freestyle.
Sarah Marlin, girls 9-10, was first in silver freestyle and posted a gold time. She also was third in gold breaststroke and second in silver IM.
Aurora King, girls 9-10, won bronze in the breaststroke.
In girls 11-12, Emily Marlin was first in silver free, first in bronze breaststroke, first in bronze butterfly and first in silver IM.
Sydney Scott won seconds in silver backstroke, silver breaststroke and silver IM.
Mason Sanders, boys 13-14, was second in gold freestyle and won silver in butterfly.
Hayden Depriest, boys 13-14, was third in gold freestyle.
Brendan Midkiff, boys 13-14, won the silver freestyle, breaststroke and IM.
Wilde, boys 15-18, was third in gold freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and IM.
Ethan Lutjen, 15-18 won the silver freestyle and backstroke and was fourth in gold butterfly.
Joshua Landers, boys 15-18, was second in silver freestyle.
