Two key fundraisers for Counting on Each Other will happen this month.


The first is this Saturday, May 6, at the Jess Odom Community Center.


It is the annual Community Yard Sale and will start at 7 a.m. and end at approximately 2 p.m.


Admission is free. Breakfast and lunch will be served.


Breakfast is $5 and will be all you can eat pancakes with sausage, juice and milk.


Lunch is also $5 and will be a choice of a hot dog or hamburger with chips, cookies and a drink.


Proceeds will benefit the senior dental program

The other event will be the annual Shred-It event on Saturday, May 20.


It will start at 9 a.m. and go until 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Bank of the Ozarks at 120 Audubon Drive.


All paper will be shredded on site and the suggested donation is $5 per box.


Some items will not be accepted and include: binders, hard drives, discs, plastic and cardboard.
