Now an annual event, the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce is again presenting Bash on the Boulevard this Saturday.

It will be held at the Town Centre Shopping Center Parking Lot at 115 Audubon Drive and start at noon.

It is scheduled to end at 8 p.m.

Admission is free and the Bash is sponsored by Fidelity Communications and the Cherokee Casino and Hotel.

Local vendors, arts and crafts and a kid zone are among the activities people will be able to enjoy.

Scheduled on a bye week for the Arkansas Razorbacks, the event will still have college football to watch on the Game Day TV Sporting area, along with a beer garden.

The Bash truly has something for everyone said Chamber of Commerce executive Director Alicia Gillen.

In the middle of The Bash will be the Sonic of Maumelle Kid Zone with a rock climbing wall, inflatable obstacle course, carnival rides and games, coloring activities, story time, face painting, and prizes.

The Beer garden is sponsored by the Arkansas Roofing Kompany and will have food trucks along with what are hoped icy cold adult beverages. The Game Day area is sponsored by Sherwood Urgent Care and will have a 24-foot trailer with three big screen TVs.

The area will also be fenced off to allow for adult beverage consumption.

Performances will begin on the Main Stage beginning at noon and include local dance studios, gymnastic teams, martial arts, cheer programs, and fitness routines. Live Music will fill the festival at 3:30 p.m. featuring local artist TJ Ashley and his band.

Tragikly White, the band you loved so much at Smitty’s in the 90s, will start at 6 p.m.

Proceeds of the Bash on the Boulevard festival help to raise funds to support economic progress and promote entrepreneurship opportunities in the area.
