Maumelle Charter’s Fall Festival has become one of the biggest community events in Maumelle, and everyone is invited!
The 2017 Fall Festival, presented by Fidelity Communications, The Sweat Family, Skinner Chiropractic, Chris and Nikki Heil, The Mazzoni Family, Dr. and Mrs. Derek Long and The Cooper Family-Coop’s Plumbing Service, will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., this Friday, Nov. 3, on the school campus, 900 Edgewood Drive.
In case of rain, and the forecast says it is likely, the event will move into the Maumelle Community Center gym.
The event will include carnival rides, food trucks, silent auction, bounce houses, rock wall, petting zoo, pony rides, photo booth, classroom games, vendor booths, dunk tank, live music from Rock Wylder and more.
Proceeds from the 2017 Fall Festival will be used to help purchase new elementary Chrome Books with a cart, a new laminator for the high school and an ice maker for the concession stand in the school’s new gym.
“This year’s event looks to be the biggest and most successful festival yet,” said Kelley Wray, PTO president.
Wristbands for admission are $10 per person at the gate on the night of the event.The wristband encompasses all PTO-sponsored activities, including classroom games, bounce houses, photo booth, rock wall, petting zoo, pony rides and jousting.
Activities that will be an additional charge at the event include carnival rides and Booster Club dunk tank.
The following food trucks will be at the event and all are donating a percentage of sales back to the PTO: Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken, Haygood’s BBQ Concessions, and Flossie’s Fun Foods. Fifth grade classrooms will head up a bake sale to raise money for transportation to Science Camp at the Ozark Natural Science Center.
