North Little Rock’s The Argenta Community Theater starts its run of A Christmas Carol on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

The shows continue through Saturday, Dec. 23 and features 11 scheduled performances along with one student show and one matinee. The official opening night is Friday, Dec. 15.

Evening shows start at 8 p.m. and tickets will range from $30 on the high end to $10.

The proceeds will benefit the theater and tickets can be purchased by going to or calling 353-1443.

This original adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic was written by Arkansas playwright Judy Goss and has a cast of 35 actors.

The production of A Christmas Carol is presented by Centennial Bank in partnership with The Tenenbaum Recycling Foundation, the city of North Little Rock and the city’s Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The performances are directed by Vincent Insalaco and produced by Judy Tenenbaum with set design and technical direction by Sara Cooke. Costumes are designed and built by Shelly Hall. Stage Manager is Chyna Loftis. Set Construction is by Jimi Brewi. Vocal direction is by D. Brent Miller, Lighting Design is by Dena Kimberling, Choreography by Christen Pitts with Sound effects by Natasha Bray and Props Master is Lauren Nicholas.

The cast includes: Greg Robinson as Ebenezer Scrooge; Ben Grimes at Bob Crachit; Tommy Diaz as Mr. Fezziwig; Laura Grimes as Mrs. Crachit; Francesca Bee as the Spirit of Christmas Past; Ben Barham as the Spirit of Christmas Present; Max Churchwell as Fred and Sagan Kinetic as Tiny Tim. The Ensemble includes Quin Clark, Tracy Courage, Walter Dodd, Madison Fleck, Katy Fraley, Charlie Friedman as the Fiddler, Jason Green, Max Green, Savannah Gross, Eric Harrison, Isabella Insalaco, Aaliyah Jerrod, Emily Jones, Lauren Lasseigne, Annie McCurdy, Max McCurdy, Brent Miller, Jason Morgan, Lennon Morgan, John Michael Murphy, Corbin Pitts, Grace Pitts, Beatrice Robinson, Kate Robinson, Katherine Satterfield and Jamie Stewart.
