The expo will open at 2 p.m. and will officially close at 6 p.m. The Jess Odom Community Center is at 1100 Edgewood Drive in Maumelle.

The theme, said the chamber’s executive director Alicia Gillen, is Unlocking the Treasures of Maumelle.”

The day will start with a state of the city address by Maumelle Mayor Mike Watson and it will also be held at the Jess Odom Community Center.

Lunch, sponsored by Hampton Inn Maumelle/G&G Hospitality, will start at noon and the meeting will be in the center’s South Room.

Tickets to the state of the city lunch are $15 and the meal will be catered by Cheers of Maumelle.

The expo is free to attend and every visitor, Gillen said, will have the chance to win a $1,000 cash prize.

“This event has been highlighted as Maumelle’s largest business-to-business networking event of the year,” Gillen said. “The one day event gives businesses and residents the opportunity make new contacts and improves existing business relationships with local organizations. It will feature over 70 exhibits by local and regional businesses.”
