Sherwood:


A family celebration


It will be a night of food, fun and fireworks at Sherwood Forest in Sherwood next Wednesday. The night will start at 6 p.m. and starting off will be free hot dogs from the grilling team at Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock, along with chips and bottled water from Bank of the Ozarks.


6:15 p.m.: Magician Tommy Terrific


7 p.m.: Patriotic program,


8 p.m. (approximately): Clark Family Trio performs


9 p.m. Fireworks start


A kids zone will also feature inflatables and along with other activities.


Parking is available onsite or at Sherwood Sports Complex, 511 Bear Paw Road with free shuttles provided by First Baptist Church of Sherwood.

Big Bang on the Range

The annual Big Bang on the Range Firework Show at the Jacksonville Shooting Sports Complex at 9:30 p.m. on July 4. Gates open at 6 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket for a banging, booming, rockets red flaring firework show over the wide open range. Inflatables for the kids will be on site and concessions will be sold.

The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum at 120 Riverfront Park Drive is hosting a watch party for Pops on the River again this year. Watch the fireworks over the Arkansas River aboard USS Razorback submarine.
