Jill Bayles, a longtime arts programming coordinator for a variety of central Arkansas museums, is the new executive director for the Argenta Community Theater (ACT).

Bayles created and administered public and educational programs for the Old State House Museum, the Arkansas Arts Center, Heifer Village and the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute and developed marketing, communications and fundraising campaigns for Heifer International, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Department of Arkansas Heritage.

"The Argenta Community Theater is one-of-a-kind," Bayles said, "and at only two years old, it’s already made a positive cultural impact on both sides of the river. I believe in the importance of its mission to serve and educate through the performing arts, and I’m excited to lend my experience to its board of directors as we work together to make this happen."
