Movie night showing "The Sandlot" will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 14, in the Faith Trax theater. Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood with his mom and stepdad, and wants to learn to play baseball. Soon, as part of the local baseball buddies, he’s falling into adventures involving baseball, treehouse sleep-ins, the snooty rival ball team, and the legendary ball-eating dog, "The Beast."

The youth group will be hosting a bake sale in the Argenta Farmer’s Market from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, to benefit the Imagine No Malaria program, which provides mosquito nets to children in Africa — one of whom dies every sixty seconds from this disease. And on Sunday, September 16, we’ll host free blood pressure checks in our Welcome Center.

Coming in October will be "Living with No Regrets," a 4-session class will be at 3 p.m. each Sunday that will give you a chance to talk about aging and dying in a way that invites conversation, as well as a source of practical tips about changing roles, living wills, finances, transportation, housing and finishing well. Led by Rev. Ron Clark.

Levy Church of Christ, 5124 Camp Robinson Road, North Little Rock: The financial peace class will be offered for eight weeks from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. on Wednesdays. Park Hill Presbyterian Church, 3520 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock: Classes for all ages begin at 9:45 a.m. Children through fifth grade will be studying Grow!, a new curriculum focusing this fall on the story of God’s people from the call of Moses through their entering the Promised Land.

Junior and senior high youth will study Believe It or Not!, a look at unusual stories in the Bible. The Sunshine and Discipleship classes will study The Present Word, this fall’s topic "A Living Faith," lessons from Psalms, Corinthians, Hebrews, and Acts. The Fellowship Class begins a study of Chasing God with Three Flat Tires, a humorous look at the serious business of discipleship in the 21st century.
