Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Road, North Little Rock: Several orphan care ministries are uniting forces for "The Walk for the Waiting," on Saturday, May 18 to help raise money and awareness of these children without homes. There will be a meeting at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 19, to discuss a Costa Rica mission trip with guest speaker from Rice and Beans ministries in the Gibson Hall.

Applied Light Coffeehouse Worship Community, Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. in Gibson Hall: Join us for a mid-week worship experience that is informal and inspiring. Each week we feature a guest musician and enjoy a time of fellowship and coffee and then we share the application for the week. In April we’re going to explore Storytelling and in May the theme is "Every Day is Special." Did you know that May 8 is "No Socks Day"? Join us for a new kind of Sabbath.
