Unlike in years past, new and current high school students in the North Little Rock School District will be required to attend registration, which began Monday and continues through Friday, Aug. 9.

The district’s Communications Director, Shara Brazear said the main reason behind mandatory registration is to ensure that each student has up-to-date contact information on file.

Students will be able to purchase parking passes at registration and will receive their class schedules; photo identification cards will be made as well.

Families must provide proof of residence at registration in the form of a utility bill or mortgage/lease agreement. Other required items are a birth certificate and social security number. A shot record is required for new students.

A parent or guardian must be present at registration to complete the necessary forms.

A complete schedule for registration is available online at nlrsd.org.
