The Little Rock four-hand piano duo, Duo Arête, will appear in concert at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 4106 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. Both Tatiana Roitman and Kristina Marinova are award-winning pianists, and have performed at numerous music festivals worldwide. Their formidable program at St. Luke’s includes works by Brahms, Rachmaninoff, and Debussy. The concert is part of the St. Luke’s Festival of the Senses Series. Admission is free. In addition, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in North Little Rock will host Duos and Trios: Music for Winds and Percussion."

The performance will take place at St. Luke’s on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the main sanctuary of St. Luke’s. The program features music performed by the Animas Duo, the Animas Trio and the DDG Trio.

Highlights of the program include two world premieres: "Trio DDG," was written for the DDG trio by UCA composer Paul Dickinson. "Vignettes for Flute, English horn and Marimba/Vibraphone" was composed for the Animas Trio by Arkansas Tech University composer Philip Parker. Additionally, the ensembles will perform music by John Steinmetz, Gareth Farr and Mark Watters.

Performing on this program are Rochelle Mann, flute; John Pennington, marimba and vibraphone; Leanna Booze and Lorraine Duso Kitts, oboe; Beth Wheeler, oboe/English horn.
