Annamarie Kathleen Nelson and Cyrus Marazban Vandrevala exchanged wedding vows at noon Saturday, July 20, at St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church in Owensboro, Ky., with Minister Fr. Carl McCarthy of Owensboro, Ky. officiating.

The bride given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line side drape strapless gown with beaded lace detail on both bodice and skirt that features a lace up back and split back skirt with beaded lace detail on the chapel-length train. She wore two ivory tulle veils at the bottom veil is a chapel length single tier veil with raw edge and metallic floral embroidery and the second finger-tip length two tier veil scallop edges, beaded flowers and sequins. She carried a bouquet of yellow mini call lilies and red roses wrapped in ivory ribbon.

Colleen Kearney of Richmond, Va., served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Banner of Chicago, Ill., Katie Harvey of New Berlin, Wis., Gina Huddleston of Little Rock, Silvia Martinez of Libertyville, Ill. They wore Apple red satin or charmeuse and knee length dresses from off the shoulder dress to strapless sweetheart and carried bouquets of yellow gerbera daisies and red roses wrapped in apple red satin ribbon.

Joe VanSickle of Libertyville, Ill served as the best man. Groomsmen were Malcolm Vandrevala of Libertyville, Ill. brother of the groom, Kevin Glynn also of Libertyville, Ill., Dylan Bain of Kenosha, Wis., and Eric Meyer of Green Oaks, Ill.

Guest were seated by Greg Hennessee of Owensboro, Ky., uncle of the bride.

A reception followed at Summit Country Club.

Music was provided by Sr. Kim Mandelkow, vocals, organ and flute, James Wells pianist and trumpet, and Jesse Applegate violin.

The bride is the daughter of Edward and Suz-Annah Nelson of North Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of the late Clarence and Nina Nelson formerly of Hardinsburg, Ky. and the late Francis and Annah Hennessee formerly of Owensboro, Ky. She is a 2007 graduate of Mount Saint Mary Academy in Little Rock, 2011 graduate of Marquette University at Milwaukee, Wis., with a bachelor’s of science in biological science, and attended the University of Evansville at Evansville, Ind., with a completed transition to teaching program in May 2013 and received a Indiana teaching license. She is employed as a chemistry teacher for Lafayette School Corporation in Lafayette, Ind.

The groom is the son of Marazban and Khorshed Vandrevala of Libertyville, Ill. He is the grandson of Katy Vandrevala of Bombay, India and the late Hoshang Vandrevala and the late Cavas and Dina Mistry formerly of Bombay, India. He is a 2005 graduate of Libertyville High School, 2009 graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis., with a bachelor’s of Science in Biomechanical Engineering and Physics and attending Purdue University at West Lafayette, Ind. pursuing Ph.D in physics. He is employed as a teaching assistant for Purdue University Physics department.

After a honeymoon trip to Ontario, Canada, Niagara Falls and Toronto the couple will reside in West Lafayette, Ind.
