All North Little Rock residents are invited to attend the Indian Hills Neighborhood Association meeting t 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 9 at the Indian Hills Church located at 6801 John F. Kennedy Blvd.

This meeting will consist of a meet the candidates forum. The event will be moderated by the board and is expected to last until 8 p.m.

In the North Little Rock mayor’s race, both Joe Smith and Tracy Steele are set to appear. Smith currently serves as the city’s commerce and government affairs director, while Steele is a state represenative.

Candidate Mark Clinton has already spoken to the group and John Parker, who is also running for Ward 3 Alderman, is not scheduled to appear.

In the Ward 4 race, incumbent Charlie Hight will be there as well as challenger Jane Ginn.

State reps. Barry Hyde and Jane English are running for the same state senate seat and will also speak.
