The following neighborhood organizations have committed to participating in North Little Rock National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

Ward 1

Lakewood Community Association, 5-7 p.m. between the Lakewood Elementary School, 1800 Fairway,and Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Road. Activities include food, fun and prizes sponsored and provided by local businesses in the Lakewood area. Visitors can meet and greet their neighbors and local authorities. Ward 2

Glenview Neighborhood Association, 5:30-9 p.m. on Glenview Boulevard. Activities include entertainment from the area, horseback riding, bouncers for children and food. for more information, contact Ida Emerson at 343-1014.

Meadow Park Neighborhood Association, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, 318 Eureka Garden Road. Activities include cookout and using railroad grill, dunking booth, bingo, games for children, music, face painting and door prizes. For more information, contact Eveylyn Creal at 945-2870.

Young Community Advocates of Baring Cross, 5-8 p.m., on the vacant lot by Bill’s Lock and Safe, 1001 Pike Ave. Activities include neighborhood meet and greet, food, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and water. Neighbors United for Levy and Amboy Crime Watch, 4-8 p.m. at Krogers/Citi Trends parking lot on Camp Robinson Road. Activities include police and fire departments, candidates for public office, National Guard, Arkansas Game and Fish mobile aquarium, door prizes, live entertainment, food, drinks, and more.
