Kindergarten Round-Up will be held on Thursday, March 13, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in all North Little Rock elementary schools. Children, accompanied by their parents, who are eligible and desire to attend kindergarten in the North Little Rock School District next year should attend Kindergarten Round-Up in their neighborhood school. The minimum age for enrollment in public school kindergarten is for children that will be five on or before Aug. 1 of the year of initial enrollment.

During Round-Up, principals will meet with parents while teachers conduct orientation sessions for the children. Parents should bring the following documents to Round-Up:

— The child’s birth certificate

— The child’s shot record. Children must be fully immunized before entering school.

— The child’s Social Security number. The district will assign a state number if the child does not have a social security number.

— The child’s Medicaid number, if applicable.

A completed copy of the "Every Child Entry Data" form which is available on the district website ( or in your neighborhood school.
