One can donate to American Red Cross Disaster Relief by going online to www.redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS or texting the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
You can also call your church or school to see if they have any effort or you can choose to get involved with those listed below.
North Little Rock students are leading the charge to collect items for the Vilonia and Mayflower storm victims from the school district. The drop-off location is located in the NLR Lakewood Middle School/NLRHS Freshman Campus Auditorium Lobby that will be managed throughout the day, April 30 - May 2, daily by students.
Collections start at 8 a.m. today and last until 8 p.m. on Friday they start at 8 a.m. and go until noon.
School buses will then be loaded with the supplies to take to Vilonia and Mayflower.

McCain Mall and Union Rescue Mission are partnering to provide relief efforts to residents in Central Arkansas that have been affected by the recent tornadoes.
Volunteers from Union Rescue Mission will be stationed in the store space located on the lower level between GNC and Maurice’s, and will be collecting needed items now through May 10 with operating hours Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Those interested in donating furniture can contact the Union Rescue Mission at 370-0808 to schedule a pick-up or delivery. All donations will receive a receipt for a tax reduction.
Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in North Little Rock is a collection station for Tornado relief supplies.
Following the devastating tornado that ripped through Central Arkansas Sunday night, Steve Landers Toyota and Steve Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Little Rock will be drop-off locations for needed donation items to be given to the American Red Cross in Arkansas.
For all drop-off points must needed items include: Tarps, flashlights, batteries, hand sanitizer, pre-packaged snack items, bottled water, gloves, toiletries, blankets, baby wipes, formula, diapers, first aid supplies, over the counter medications, garbage bags and plastic storage totes.
