Ada Mae Thomas Sims Vann, 84, of North Little Rock, died Thursday, June 21, 2012. She was born Nov. 23, 1927, in Hickory Plains to Lealon Jacob and Ella Mae Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dewey Thomas, Dayton Thomas and Doyne Thomas; two sisters, LeeElla Walls and Linda Diane Johnston; a daughter, Velma Louise Navra; and a stepdaughter, Delphine Odom.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years L.T. "Pete" Vann; three daughters, Fannie St. John of Jacksonville, Nancy Foster and husband Alan Foster of Greenbrier and Renee Vann of Columbia, S.C.; a son, Derrell Vann and wife Marilyn Vann of Jacksonville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral was held Monday, June 25, 2012, at Roller Owens Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Ballard officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Pallbearers were Bobby Navra, William St. John, Jeremy Navra, Raymond St. John, Ben Johnson, Russell Fugua, Shawn Fields and Jimmy Fugua. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Navra, Bill Ellis and Jerry Odom.

The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Arkansas.
