Billy R. Noland, 75, of North Little Rock, died Sunday, March 24, 2013. He was born in Albany, Ky., to Clyde and Jessie Harbor Noland.

He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the U. S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was an associate Professor at Little Rock Air Force Base for the University of Arkansas and was the Human Resource Director for Timex and J.A. Riggs. He was a member and Deacon at Central Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paris and Flave Noland; and sister, Toni Noland.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marjorie Calhoun Noland; children, David Scott Noland of Seattle, Wash., Billie O’Quin (Roger) of Little Rock and Kay Gilmore and husband Doug) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Sydney Gilbert and husband Luke, Chris O’Quin and wife Sasha, Noland Gilmore and wife Sara, Logan Gilmore, Alana Gilmore and Miles Noland; great-grandchild, Andrew Gilbert; sister, Dimple Daughtery; brothers, Clifford Nolan and wife Mary Lou and Bob Nolan and wife Darlene; and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 28 at Central Baptist Church, 5200 Fairway, North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Central Baptist Church.
