Jack Kelly Johnson, 79, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012. He was born June 26, 1933 in Many, Louisiana to John Kelly "Jack" Johnson and Etta Irene Knippers Johnson. At the age of 15, he joined the U.S. Army and Air Force and served in the Korean War. He was stationed at Camp Chaffee and Blytheville, Missowa AFB in Japan and Parks AFB in California. He attained the rank of Sergeant and earned the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

Survivors include daughters, Joy Pilkinton "the Baby Girl" and husband Ed of Sherwood and Saundra Williams and husband Lee of Columbia, Mo.; sons, Jackie Johnson and wife Faye of Zwolle, La., Joey Johnson of Shreveport, La., Jerry Johnson and wife Gloria of Jacksonville, James Johnson and wife Susie of Sherwood; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

A Graveside services was at noon, Friday, Oct. 5 at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.
