Jenny Lynn Thomasson Glenn, 78, of North Little Rock died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012. She was born Nov. 3, 1933 in Rison, to Lynn and Iris Haskins Thomasson. They soon moved to Star City where Jenny grew up and finished high school.
She began to teach at Immaculate Conception in the grade school but eventually gravitated to teaching religion. She taught all the first communion classes and wrote original and unique liturgies for all the children’s’ masses.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jonathan Usry.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert Glenn M.D.; sister, Johnnie Mac Henry and husband Skip of Little Rock; daughter, Lynda Glenn of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; granddaughters, Adrianne Kupietz of Long Beach, Calif. and Ann Elizabeth Kimmons and husband Eli of North Bend, Ore.; great-great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Kupietz, Alex, Caleb, Hoyt and Aneli Kimmons; sons, Robert Glenn of Jacksonville, Bill Glenn and wife Stacey of Pascagoula, Miss. and Steve Glenn of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Rob, Shonna,Bill, Justin Usry, Josh, Will, Addison, Connor and Haven Glenn.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m., Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be at 5 p.m., Friday, followed by a rosary service at 6 p.m., at North Little Rock Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
