Madeline S. Lantz, 91, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at Episcopal Church Homes in Louisville, KY.
She was a world traveler, master seamstress and active member of Douglass Blvd Christian Church. In 1996, following her retirement from the internationally respected Poe Travel Agency after 25+ yrs of work, she moved to Louisville, Ky to be closer to her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, L.B.
Survivors include son, Bruce Lantz, Jr. of North Little Rock; daughter, Joanna L Ackerman and husband John of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Brian and wife Chelsea, Jeffrey, Susan and Deborah Lantz of North Little Rock; Libby Loeser and husband Matthew, SSGT Karl Ackerman; and great-granddaughter Agnes Loeser all of Louisville, Ky.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, to be conducted by her minister, Dr. Derek Penwell of Louisville, Ky.
The family requests donations be made in Madeline’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
