Ralph Alfish Eudy, 91, of Jacksonville died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. He was born in Tuckerman, to James and Hattie France Campbell Eudy. He was of Baptist faith and a Veteran of World War II in Europe, Normandy and Battle of the Bulge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Jo Ann Nichols.
Survivors include his wife of seventy years, Marie Eudy; daughters, Carolyn Collins and husband Dennis of Corsicana, Texas, Judy Steven and husband Jimmy of Denton, Texas, Rita Wagner and husband Bill of Ft. Meyers, Fla., and Donna Marie Harp-Eudy of Sherwood; grandchildren, Patricia Hunting, Vicki Wallis, James Trickey, Dennis Eugene Collins, Casey Collins, Michael Stevens, Jennifer Stevens, Evan Wagner, Travis Wagner, Micah Wagner, Alexandra Powell, and Roy Smith; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
A funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial was in Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery.
