Joan Love Gravitt, 86, of North Little Rock, passed away on May 20, 2017. She was born Nov. 12, 1930 to the late Bevie and Deal Brown.


She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, her first husband Sterling P. (Buddy) Love, and her second husband Perry Gravitt.


She is survived by her son Danny (Lisa) Love, daughter Debbie (Gary Tucker) Love; bonus daughter Jean Svoboda; grandchildren Kym (Wayne) Herren of Rogers, Jennifer (Josh) Adams of Sherwood, Rebecca (Rick) Thompson of Austin, and Madalen Love of Maumelle; and great-grandchildren Brandon Adams, Bethany Adams, Whitney Baker, Emily Westerman, Natalie Herren, and Will Herren.


Joan retired after many years of faithful service to Thermogas. She enjoyed spending time traveling, house boating on the Arkansas River, and taking care of her family. Her legacy of love was left with her two children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she was totally devoted to. Her most treasured times were when all of her family gathered together, especially during the holidays. She will be remembered for her positive spirit, her beautiful heart, and her determination to get any job at hand completed with both humor and grace.

Joan’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25 with a visitation beginning at 2 p.m. and funeral following at 3 p.m. at Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. Burial will follow immediately at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
