The Rotary Club of Sherwood honored Darrell Brown as the Citizen of the Year during their Foundation Banquet on Nov. 12. Brown was honored forf his efforts in researching Sherwood’s history and preserving it for generations to come. He currently leads the effort to conserve the historic Roundtop filling station on Trammel Road. Along with the award, Brown was given a prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary International.
