Justin Dickerson, 31, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test and no proof of insurance after police were dispatched to McDonald’s, 8400 Warden Road, in reference to a disorderly and possibly intoxicated customer.
Jeffrey Lamont, 50, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas 107 in reference to a person possibly urinating in the parking lot.
Marcus Mitchell, 33, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of DWI (drugs) and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident near the intersection of East Kiehl Avenue and Witts Drive.
Kevin Evans, 26, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, left of center, no insurance, improper lane change and no seat belt after a police cruiser on East Kiehl Avenue had to hit its brakes to avoid a collision with Evans’ vehicle because he suddenly changed lanes.
Joseph Walker, 29, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of domestic battery, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after police were called to 14 Oneida Drive in reference to a disturbance.
Daniel Kelly, 20, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police saw he was in Parkcrest Apartment’s parking lot after hours.
Zandra Johnson, 29, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of following too closely and disorderly conduct after police were dispatched to the area of Brockington and Warden roads in reference to a non-injury accident.
Winston Morris, 53, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of DWI, driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, no tail lights, defective headlight and no proof of registration after police had a report of someone driving a Cadillac westbound on East Kiehl Avenue with no headlights.
Earl Nixon of Sherwood said he was driving on Brookswood Drive headed toward Warden Road and a truck pulling a trailer operated by Paul Dillon of Sherwood was stopped with traffic waiting to get onto Warden. Nixon said he tried to stop but was unable to do so and he struck Nixon’s vehicle. Nixon’s 1999 Chevy Suburban sustained $300 of damage while Dillon’s vehicle had $400 of damage. Nixon was found to be at fault for the accident and was issued a citation for following too close.
Christina Speed of Mayflower said she was driving eastbound on East Kiehl Avenue at a complete stop at the Kiehl/Lantrip intersection when her vehicle was struck in the rear by another one driven by Charles Remer of Dardenelle. Speed’s Honda Accord had $500 of damage and Remer’s Ford Ranger had $100 of damage. Remer was found to be at fault and received a citation for following too close.
