Despite sorry, soggy conditions for the last few days, Sylvan Hills baseball was able to get three games in and managed two wins.

On Tuesday, the Bears faced Little Rock Christian in doubleheader with the first game going Sylvan Hills way with a 4-0 win. In the second game, it was Little Rock Christian that won, 2-1.

Last Friday, the Bears beat Logan-Rogersville, Mo., 10-7.

Sylvan Hills will host Searcy this Friday, April 13 and will be at Maumelle next Tuesday, April 17.

Sylvan Hills is 15-9 overall and 9-1 in conference action.


Sylvan Hills took care of business in a doubleheader against Little Rock Christian on Tuesday.

The Bears combined for 34 runs as they won the first game, 19-0, and the second game, 15-0.

They lost at Beebe on Monday, 13-3.

That pushes Sylvan Hills to 8-0 in the conference and 11-9 overall.

The Bears travel to Benton Harmony Grove this Thursday, April 12, and will be at Maumelle on Tuesday, April 17 for a doubleheader.
